COVID-19 PROTOCOL

Let’s take care of ourselves and protect the environment

We want to give our visitors a great and safe experience in the Reserve, that is why we have developed a Covid-19 Protocol to take care of tourists, local community, work team, guides, drivers and all people related to tourism in Tierra del Fuego.

  • The entrance is only and exclusively with a confirmed reservation. Don’t forget to book your visit here.

  • The visits are guided, they start every hour and the groups are made up of a maximum of 15 people (adults and children.) Check our schedule, tickets and payment methods here.

  • Only card payment is accepted at the ticket office.

  • When entering, all visitors must declare they are not in quarantine as indicated by the health authority and that they do not have two or more symptoms associated with Covid-19. Likewise, they accept the biosafety conditions and the instructions provided by our team. Otherwise, the abandonment of the Reserve and police support may be requested.

  • Visitors must have a mask. Its use is mandatory within the Reserve and during the entire visit.

  • We will perform body temperature control on all visitors. Those who register a temperature higher than 37.8ºC will not be able to enter the Reserve, nor will their companions.

  • The permanence or evacuation of any person who is observed with obvious symptoms of Covid-19 will be evaluated.

  • All visitors must participate in the induction on the Observation Code and biosafety protocol, which will be carried out by the park ranger, risk preventionist or personnel in charge of the Reserve.

  • The minimum distance between people is 2 meters. It is recommended to maintain a greater distance when the guided tour includes two or more groups using different means of transport.

  • Adults are responsible for children to maintain a safe distance from other visitors.

  • Visitors are recommended to sanitize their personal items, such as backpack, clothing, among others, before and after the visit.

  • Visitors must take the waste they generate both within the Reserve, as well as on the trip to it.

  • In the viewpoints we will have panoramic binoculars for a better observation of the colony, which will be cleaned during each visit. For added security, we recommend that visitors bring their own binoculars.
